Dash-Cam Appeal - Regarding a fatal collision on the A628 Manchester Rd, Tintwistle - Monday 3rd August

Dashcam appeal after fatal collision - We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a fatal collision in Tintwistle. 

The collision, involving a BMW and a Mercedes, occurred in Manchester Road at around 9.50pm on Monday 3 August. The driver of the BMW, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are aware and our thoughts are with them. The driver of the Mercedes suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital where she remains. 

Three people who were passengers in the BMW also suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital where they remain. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision as well as anyone with dashcam footage.
